2.4L Engine Rebuild or replace
Sunday, January 18, 2009 4:05 PM
Just purchased a Sunfire 2.4L VIN code T Car with a blown motor.

Is it cheaper to rebuild the motor, Or spend the 700+ for a used lowmileage replacement?

From experience cheaper to buy a used motor.
If you are looking to do more with the car keep it for a while then rebuilding might be a good option. Also depends on your time frame to get it running.
