2.4L Twin Cam ARP head Studs

well now I fall victim of buying 2.3L Quad 4 ARP head studs assuming they work on the 2.4L Twin Cam....Well they dont. It says on their website that they are for both 2.3 and 2.4 but they dont fit the 2.4. They sent me some measurement sheets so they can get me a custom kit. Now I heard that the 8 bolts are from a GSR B18 motor and the short two are from a Vr6

GMR has got nothing on this

I know this information has been posted at least a dozen times. You really need to learn to do some research before doing anything again.

head studs
(8) ATP-8.000-1LUB $12 EA
(2) ATP-4.165-1LUB $8 EA
(10) NUTS $1.60 EA
(10) WASHERS $0.66 EA

Torque to 75lbs.

I did do research but after I had bought them. I saw that info you listed but they told me ARP doesnt sell individual bolts and stuff.
I gave my machine shop that exact info but they now want measurements

The key word is "BEFORE...

I know for a fact you can buy them Carcustoms (right on the front page) http://www.carcustoms.net/product_info.php?products_id=474. I'm pretty sure you can get them from TurboTech, and afew others.

I bought mine direct from ARP 3yrs. ago

man, i thought we all agreed you needed the LD9 ones since they are longer than the 2.3's?

obviously the 2.3 ones arent going to work in the 2.4 block since the 2.4 block's holes are longer....

As far as I know they carry 3 types of nuts.

Nyloc (DO NOT USE)

6 Point (What I've always used)

12 Point (More commonly used for Rod bolts)
