ok, im trying not to sound like a moron here....
IF i set the rpm limiter to 7200 rpms, how bad would that bee for my 2.2L L61 ? right now it has the Hahn Racecraft stage II turbo kit installed. its fast as heck now. how much more power would i get from that, if any?

thanks
Mike

Would you still be making power at that RPM or is it already falling well before then? No point in spinning it faster if it isnt making power.

can the stock top end hold up to 7200?

Im not an engine builder but I would not run it that high.

spinning higher won't make more power.

not sure if the stock valvetrain could take that for too long either. I had a patriot stage 2 head up to 8000 on more than one occasion but didn't notice any spectacular change.. the design of the intake manifold I had at the time screwed up my power band..

if you want more revs, at the very least upgrade the valvesprings and comp cams or something similar.

don't ask about the springs or the cams either.. the ecotec is stupidly easy to find parts for.. do a google search.

until then, leave the limiter at 7000 at the absolute MAX. I wouldn't trust the stock valvetrain much higher than that
