On my past 2.3L oil pump conversions you could just go too the dealer and order these parts. I called the local chevy/ pontic dealer these part #s are discontinued. I was just wondering where you guys are buying these parts now days or just getting old 2.3l motors? thanks2.3L

hmmm...i think i'll be needing this also...gonna do a lot of work on my 2200 but a while away...looks like this is the best setup.
That set up will not work on your 2200.
ah..so, what would i do about a better oil pump? i plan on doing a lot to my car, and i need the oil to be where its supposed to be, lol. i'm kinda thinkin about the jbp pump...i've just heard thats its not put together right, so maybe i'll get one and try to put it together right. other options? lol, there sure is a lot more available to you 2.4 and eco guys.
Most of what is available for the 2.4 is parts adapted from a 2.3L. As far as aftermarket goes there really inst squat for teh 2.4L

the bolts and pins are standard hardware, even though some kid in a PM freaked out when I told him that...
the parts are still out there, 42 more sets of it all remain in existence..... And for everyone I have talked to, only Brad has actually done something... other then wast my time...
If you want the parts. call around, talk to a GOOD GM parts consultant, and he can still get them.
