vibrant resonator

I have a 2005 cavalier with a vibrant cat-back, I don't mine the sound as its probably the best for our cars. I was wondering what difference an 18" vibrant resonator would make? Would it reduce the sound level and deepen? Also I have a GMPP S/C with a chopped up K&N Typhoon intake.

Thanks for the help

it will do both things...both reduce sound level (not significantly, but enough) and deepen the tone...it will also help reduce any unwanted raspiness. I would reccommend a resonator for any catback system.

I just got my new header back and I went with a magnaflow 22" resonator, and couldn't be happier.

I might buy a 18-22" resonator...

the bigger the better in my opinion....but it really depends on what you think is loud, if its much too loud for you, opt for the 22", if you just want it to be a bit more civil, go with the 18"....
