I own a 2002 Coupe Cavalier. I heard from my co-worker that if I would replace the OE lower engine mount with an aftermarket version it would prevent my engine from rocking so much. I was wondering if anybody has replaced this and it had helped? I need to replace my flex pipe also, it is frayed, would replacing the engine mount prevent that?

i think its mainly the top mount that prevents the engine from rocking



Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

the lower mount does a little for that, it takes some weight off putting the car into gear. i have one for sale in the classifieds if your interested.
