2.3 oil pump shims

Anyone have issues with using them? I didn't really give it a second thought since they didn't seem to fit over the Arp main studs. If some of you did use them how did you make em work?

^^Me either, my shop just trimmed the actual pump where needed to fit over my ARP main studs

same here...i just did the pump on baggednine7's 2.4 build with arp studs and we had to trim the pump housings just a bit for clearence..but it all worked out pretty easy

Yeah I had to do that to the pump as well. The shims would not even go over the ARP studs so I was wondering how you would even make them work and if you even needed them.

Just got the engine timed and all seems good. Should be dropping in next weekend.
