I was just wondering what’s the highest revving LD9/OHV j-body on the org(built/stock don’t matter).
Also how high have you revved your LD9/2200 on stock before failure just wondering numbers
The LD9 and LN2 are two different engines. I'm sure you know that but your post has odd wording.

I am Foreign i cant help it.
my stock bottom end LD9 has seen 7500-7700. does that count?
some of the eco boys are pushing 9000.
Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...
Someone here on another post has claimed 8000rpm w/mech-rollers in a 2200.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
^^^ I wanne see that, @!#$ at 6000rpm with 1.6 roller's it sounds like it's gonna fly apart lol
^^Mines set at 6500 -- and I regularly hit it
It sounds like it is going to explode, but its taken about 15k miles of complete abuse and shows no signs of giving up.

7500 on my 02 (will be dropped down to stock when a stock engine goes back in) right now but when I get around to the new engine it may be closer to 8000.
I can almost guarantee this turns into a dickswinging contest before it hits page 2.

that's because yours is still stock tuned.
my LN2 is set to go up to 7000 I think it is, see's 6500-almost 7000 every once in a while for fun.
I've got the video here of the 8k rpm ln2 car on the track. Plenty of times around to pick out the sound of the engine. Can't seem to figure out how to lift the video, or even how to make 30 minutes of amateur race video say anything in three minutes or less, but I get a kick out of watching it.
