Who has this manifold? Im looking for one, and just wondering what you guys think for the price tag... im going to need it to fix the pcv issue for the ecotec and just curious as to what you all think. still plan on running the stock tb so just wondering. also if i use the stock tb, what does that do for the cable for the tb? any stretching or any extra play?
looking for more pics of it and more info on it please or if you have one for sale haha. let me know. or would be awesome if vulcan did a gp it
also if i use the stock tb, what does that do for the cable for the tb? any stretching or any extra play? <- Please re read this. then think about how a throttle body works. and then you have answered your own ?
or if your lazy the answer is no. there wouldnt be. and that makes no sense why it would....... enough said

or think about that you are relocating the tb to a completely different position, therefore pulling on it or having it close and leave the cable to run wild...
okay i see where your coming from. still no. go grab a bmx bike and take the cables off the brakes and play with them essentially the same thing. sorry for sounding like a prick. but yeah you will have cable running wild but it wont be loose or anything do to relocating. its a hard plastic (i think its plastic) with a cable inside it dosnt need to be stretched tight or anything. but you dont want it all over your engine bay either. so no it wont give you any play room. ahhh its kind of hard to explain. but no no play room if that answers your last ? i dunno about that mani except to pricey for me at the moment but would love to have one.
i get what your saying but i was just curious as to rotating it or moving it or the need for a longer cable or a shorter cable. i know what your saying but want to make sure before i drop that big of a bomb on it...
We have a few out in the market right now, the cable ones have been installed without modifying the cable. It just sits differently. Also installing the intake manifold does require some tuning. Its volume throws off the ecu a little bit.

just wanted to make sure before i drop that much cash on an intake manifold. and tuning wont be a problem... i have a pro looking at it. i need the manifold to fix the pcv system problem. i just wish more people got in on the gp to drop the price some.
ran low on funds or else I would have had one...

i need to get one to fix the pcv issue so that the turbo can drain properly. and free up some stuck power. plus it will only let the car breath better especially with the cams.

nothing to really pm. its just that under boost, it pressurizes our crank case which does not let the turbo drain correctly and the feed still feeds so the oil has to go somewhere so it goes out of the oil seals usually... so we have to figure out how to get vacuum to the crankcase so its not pressurized. pj has not looked into it yet and said he will once he sees boost to figure it out.
i just ran my pcv to my exhaust, and im fine

naw man
what i did was i took a hose and ran it to the nipple i welded on my exhaust, it acted as a vacum and pull out any pressurization.
no pics since everything is out of car..lol

Vincent I don't think Matt has done anything with the PCV port on the head my guess is right now its blocked off if the manifold is installed.
