I am looking at getting rid of my a/c in my car cause it no longer works but I believe that there is only a delete kit for the 2.2. I was looking at an old post about an a/c delete but it didn't talke about what belt was used for a LD9 with the m45. Wondering if anyone has done the delete with this setup and if so what size belt did you go with? I know some people just get rid of the entire pulley and put a smaller belt on. Not sure what the best route to go is but any help would be apprecitated cause the car goes in the shop on monday to get worked on.
there is a 2.4 ac 'delete' pulley. you can buy it right at gm for around $75. its the same exact size as stock so you can stick with the uber expensive m45 kit's belt.
Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...
I personally would do the pulley mentioned above.
With discount mine was way cheaper than $75.
I've got one I'll sell you for $30 plus shipping

joe... the first one i bought with my discount was like 37 iirc... but for some reason the last time (recently) when i ordered another one they couldn't seem to find one easily and needed to get it from another dealership and they would not honor my discount... PLUS i had to pay for the shipping as well.

Just give them the part number, they won't know what the hell you're talking about if you try to describe it.

Haha...thanks...I wish I had more time to wait to get it shipped or else I would get it off the org...anyone have an estimate of how much weight is saved by doing this? 20 lbs? I'm just doing it cause my a/c doesn't work so even if I can save a few pounds thats a bonus.
A good bit for sure! Compressor weighs quite a bit, won't see much from the condenser/lines/canister but eh
.
