From JBP, I've seen a few horrror stories from their hugely overpriced crap and never anything good except maybe a set of cams here or there, either way your better off without them.
i must have missed some info in the last couple years as ihave not been on this site in that time but what is wrong with jbp are they scammers like mantapart ? i cant build a motor and i figured havin them build one would be cheaper than havin some garage making a custom motor perhaps this is not true but i would like to get my wheels back on the road any suggestions?
sorry little slow with the reply not good with computers
yep i can pull the motor thats not an issue but as for takin apart the guts and replacin them it would be beyond my current skills. sadly ive never taken apart a car motor before
I seem to remember a motor of there's coming apart becaus the rods weren't torqued down, upon tearing it apart the guy found lots ofrigged up crap and mostly stock parts. It was nowhere near what he paid for and they didn't stand behind there work.
Once again just stay away from them.
ah there always has to be a first time for everything. rememeber loosing your virginity....? did you know exactly what the @!#$ you were doing? just get yourself a book and learn. its how i learned and im sure most of us.
lol point taken guess i gotta put my big boy pants on an dive in . its not like i can hurt the motor anymore than it is. as for jbp i will heed the warnings thanks for the"heads up" bout them
just get the parts and take it to a local machine shop they can do it all thats where my stuff goes the guy i go to build drag race motors he has 1 customer that will only make 14 passes on a motor then its not reliable he tears it down and goes new find a good machine shop in your area

It's going to cost around $3000 CDN for a fully built motor, machining, ARP studs, wiseco's eagle rods, 2.3l oil pump, modified oil pan, etc, etc. Check the classifieds their are lots of guys selling built motor's already.

yeah, i remember they did not assemble someones correctly, and it was MESSED up. They would not warranty anything on it either.
It was clearly parts that they were suppose to assemble though,.
