I was looking around for springs that may possibly work for us ld9 guys. There isnt a lot out there but I find some that might be compatible. Here they are.


COMP Cams 26113
Part Number: CCA-26113-24
Number of Springs Per Valve: Single
Outside Diameter of Outer Spring (in): 1.061 in.
Coil Bind Height (in): 0.952 in.

the induction dynamics head used crower springs... if i could find the info pertaining to the ld9 and lg0 springs they can make us some.

sorry i forgot the free lenght
26113 is Free Length: 2.200

I'll post the others if I can find them. The lenght seems a bit long so i guess i dont know if the comp cams would work.

I have been wondering about these valve springs and think that this is what i am going to go with on my car.
Was wondering if anyone has used these yet?

Thanks for the info! Does anyone have the stock LD9 spring #'s and the HO spring #'s for comparison? I am a valvetrain noob and I am looking for alternatives to HO springs.

To the OP, did you pick those springs out of the many Comp cam springs because those would work the best? Their whole catalog is here.

Also would we be able to use the titanium retainers it lists for the springs?

the reason i looked at these is becuase they have a similar install height, the bind height is lower and the seat pressure is higher. I have the manta parts springs and their install height is around 1.50 for intake and exhaust is 1.35, seat pressure is about 70 and the bind height is .980 so with the secrete cams that i have that dont leave much room for extra lift if I want to go with higher lift cams. Like I said these might be options for someone. If i decide to go with custom made cams I will use whatever springs they recomende i use. If I buy new cams and springs my secret cams and mantapart springs will be up for sale.
