SECRET CAMS PROBLEM.........

I bought the secret cams and i notice something weird. my two cams have a number engraved with a 245/742 in the intake and the exhaust and my "secret cams" have a 245/742 intake and 225/455 exhaust. whats the diff. then????? i havent install them because i am doing a lot of things to the motor but what difference are they going to make????? and i have all the bolt ons that why i am going internal now. PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT!!!!!!!!

did you actually physically pull the cams out of their respected cars? and made sure they were the right year?



Needing 2.3 oil pump stuff? PM me...

the intake for the twincam and 95 quad4 are the same..however the lobes are different..if you didnt pull the cam yourself then youll just have to trust the guy you got them from OR measure them yourself..the other number is an earlier year lo quad4.........

of course i did took out mine except for the secret cams those i bought them online but is the 225/455 exhaust going to help me??? because if not why put them on??? and how do i measure them????

The 225/455 stamping was on the Lo and Ho cams so you need to mesure them. People use those numbers but you can't only go by the numbers.

well it has more lift and more duration than your stock cam....so what do you think ?

well then i think i will install them, now will they help me with my 150 shot of wet nitrous???? because that's what i am shooting. now i have the cold air intake, heater, crank pulley, msd, low compression pistons on .30, ported head, and bore block. will the cams help me with nitrous????????

heater? and yes, the cams will help with nitrous operation just as they would with n/a.

I thought every car had a heater? and why are you running nitrous on low compression pistons?
what is ".30 AND a bored block ??

well the pistons are oversized to .30 and the cylinders are bore to .30... well its running good on low compression

in order to get the most power NA you need higher compression pistons, especially with nitrous...low compression is typically for boost applications
