Lets start by saying I purchased the car from jarret (freqz). Its ecotec, and has stage 2 comp cams. They are n/a. But I'm just wndering if anyone can help me. I wanna know if they will be good for a boost application as well. I wanna go with either a gmsc, or a small turbo. Thanks for any help guys and gals.

if you compare the specs from their stage two cam to their turbo cam, lift is more which isnt a bad thing, but the durations is quite a bit longer. I asked a similar question a while a go and was told that more duration isnt a good thing.


horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.

You might be able to improve their performance with boost with adjustable cam gears. You could dial out some of the overlap, but this may cause rough idle and slightly delayed spoolup.
