What exactly do i have to do to make the ss injectors fit on my 04 fuel rail? i keep reading posts that they do work and some that dont.

i have an 04 just to clarify i thought i put 03+ on the topic.

I'm working on a possible mod from a grand prix we can use.

the accepted method was to basically pull the injector cups and let them 'hover' in the head (not fully seated in the head)

I'm looking at the ZZP spacers for grand prix GTP intercooler upgrades as a possible solution.


not having the cups seated in the head can lead to vacuum leaks and possibly your injector coming loose spraying fuel all over your engine/ engine bay and starting a fire.

The injector cups have to be spaced up for the injectors to seal. No mods are needed to the fuel rail.

I found these at a local hardware store. I used 2 per cup.







I am not 100% comfortable doing it this way or the "hovering" method, but i did this so the car can run until i get some larger injectors that fit properly.
