I've got an 05 sunfire with the 2.2L ecotec, nothing exciting about it, mainly just the simple, intake, pulley, 62mm TB w/ ported intake manifold, Pacesetter header, eastern hi-flow cat, and Magnaflow exhaust dual. I've had this car for about 3 yrs and want to upgrade to the 3800 SC but i really don't know much about doing this, If anyone can give me a general list of what is needed, or maybe some ideas on what my other choices can be, and no turbo upgrade suggestions please, it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
well.. for the cost I'd just buy a hahn stage 2 turbo kit for your car.. that's my opinion..

get the m62 instead of doin all the work for a 3800 sc. 3800 is not a direct swap.

this makes me laugh.
if you modify the engine in the car, you can make just as much power.. yet I'm assuming you don't know how. So to solve that, you want to swap in a completely different engine, from a different car that was never meant to be under the hood of a jbody in the first place... which is a much, much more difficult task.
research into modifying the ecotec.. much easier, especially since your car already has one in it.
headwork, forced induction, tuning is what you should be looking at.
ya i was thinking about that as well, ok do you know of any parts that would be good for the headwork
