I need help to find the tach signal on an Alero 3400 1999 swamped into a cavalier, some people say to find the white wire that goes into the ignition control module, but I don't find this f***ing wire, I try different wire, but the rpm reading it always wrong, I used a scanner to get a good rpm reading. If someone have any suggestions ?

C2-08 at thePCM should b tach signal if its not there i have no idea what wire you wll want
however theres a whitewire in pin B on the Ignition contor modual you sould be able to get the signal from that the wire might have changed colour to yellow from age but PIN B make sure our tach is also set on V6 if its an autometer there should be switches inside it involes poping out the light bulb and flicking the switches n the right order

I finally fix my problem by buying an equus gauge who detect the tach signal from DIS directly on the spark plug wires.
