i want to eliminate the a/c in my 2.4 im going to take the whole pump off can i run a belt from the crank to the alternaor without rubbing on the tensioner i was going to do it but it looks like it would rub can somone help me out on this ?

They sell a a/c delete pulley at the dealer. Dont know the part number off hand but if you search a/c delete its in one of the posts there.....

also make sure that before you take off any part of the air conditioning system you go and have it evacuated, that stuff is no good for our environment.

A/C DELETE PULLEY: 24574519

they call it a water pump pulley but that should be the rite P/N. and you can use ur stock belt with that.

its not too bad for the enviroment its R134a it only last 14 years in the atmosphere apose to R12 that they use to use that lasts 104 years

but yes get it evacuated but someone who is certified to do it

Misnbly bypassed the A/C deleate pully and went right to the crank with no problems.
