I have a 1999 sunfire SE I've got the basic bolt-ons (intake, catback exhaust) now im wondering if I should Buy a Header and camshaft; or nitrous my current set-up. It's my daily driver or I would be all over T3 turbos and nitrous.
also what gains can I expect on average from the new header (I was thinking pace setter)
cmnt are welcome ^.^

The best answer is you should expect no gains from a header. This way you are not disappointed when you do all the work , and see no gains.
dangggggg with that thinking seems like a waste of money

I've never liked nitrous much, and would never ever use it on a daily driver. In my opinion it's a great way to toast a motor, instead of buying a header and cam, get a turbo manifold and a turbo, then slowly build up a 5-6 psi daily driver, i think you would be much happier..

N2 can be very safely put on a DD with great results and no danger to internals if it is done correctly. To say it's a great way to toast a motor is a very ignorant statement. No more probable than catching knock while tuning your boost when you setup your turbo.

ya, i was thinking for my DD a safe 35 shot, dry, with a kill switch of course, so i wont' be 'toasting' all the time. that is my goal for my DD i think i'll be safe.
Why not run a Wet Shot instead of Dry?

everybody who runs n20 around here usually has to replace there motor not too long after they start spraying it.. but then again, most of em are hondas to, i love having the only cavy in my group of ppl, they all talk @!#$ about it but i think its funny they refuse to run it..

Personally, I'd go for the header and a cam regrind. Cheaper than a nitrous or turbo setup, and it'll give decent performance on your 2200 (not mindblowing, but it'll help a lot). I would also add the B&M shiftplus since you're running an automatic.

I specifically said...CORRECTLY...

Well, let me clarify. Correctly = WET

^See above note about wet. Either they are running dry or are morons and have no WBO2 or worse have a WBO2but don't know wtf it does/what it means.

So I think i'll start with the new camshaft and header. I was thinking pace setter on the header and I have no clue about the camshaft (look at the sticky) and then move on to no2 because I personally think a turbo is a little to much for my budget.

I've been told that a 3spd auto can't run a B&M shiftplus since it's a mechanical transmission and not an electronic like the 4 speed. I could be wrong.

True. My bad. I had a 3rd gen for my first car with a 4 speed auto, so I always assume it's a 4 speed in a 3rd gen.
