for $214 shipped/
Short tube huh? Nice lil gig there, not for top end but should improve low end quite well.

4 Cams...32 Valves...5 Liters...This Could Get Fun!
been around a long time. knock off of the DC sports header
my thing is.. unless you're retaining the stock downpipe, why bother?
but on that note, a 3" collector breathing into a 1.75" or 2" downpipe doesn't sound very smart to me.
Be much easier to install then the tsudo though, hahahahaha
Don't buy from MANTAPART!!
There is no easy ways to get HP, no magic box or gizmo... And if you get more hp, there's no way to make your car still behave and sound like a stock one. More hp usually makes your car louder, more vibrations and harder to drive...but still people hope or think maby there's some magic way to have it all, comfort, stock sound and drive.
I was thinking about getting a cobalt downpipe and modding it if I were to do it.
2009 Ford Mustang V6
I would just get the lsj pacesetter and call it done...
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
why waste money. if ur gonna do a header get one thats worthy.

This.
If you're having a customizing the DP, just get the LSJ pacesetter. You won't regret it
The LSJ header might sound like a great idea with the bigger primary's at 1 3/4" but bigger isn't always better. Unless you always plan on driving at full throttle..

bigger is always better just like with women!!!

Never had a prob with the SS OBX header on the skwirl.
I had 3" exhaust on an n/a car too.. that never seemed to be a problem either.
rule of thumb isn't always the rule.

agreed, i have the LSJ header and 2.5" exhaust on my n/a cav and its got plenty at part throttle

I have the LSJ with a full 2.25 and its amazing. (besides the nasty rasp, i need a ressy bad).
1/4 throttle, 1/2 throttle, full throttle...its a great header...
i think pacesetter should discontinue the L61 and market the LSJ as the header for both.
Wouldn't this header's 3" collector be a little overkill?
I want to improve lows and mids more than high end.
Anyone have this header so they can tell me where it shines in the RPM band?
Thanks!
My wife's 2003 Ecotec 2.2 liter Sunfire:
* 2 1/4 inch turbo muffler
* 2 1/4 piping to a 2 1/2 inch resonator
* 2 1/4 inch catalytic converter
* 2 1/2 inch down-pipe
* a match ported 4:2:1 RK Sports 'clone' header
* an AEM true cold air intake NOPI edition
* 8 gauge ground wire kit
* Toyz front strut brace
* Vibrant rear strut brace
* and Russell stainless steel brake lines all around.

It shines at 4000+ RPM, but the point is it does not detract noticably (IMO) from the lower rpms or daily driving.
Most will probably tell you if your only goal is to improve lows/mids, get a s/c or a v6/v8

Only way to compare the 2 types of headers would be on the dyno and look at the graphs. Anybody coming from the stock exhaust manifold will notice a greater power output no matter what they throw on the back of the motor vs the stock manifold. The output on the stock manifold is smaller than 1 7/8" with that "D" shape . I'm sure the hp and torq differences of the 2 size of primaries are minimal anyways until you reach a horsepower greater than 175-200 mark. Like i said though, only a dyno would tell the differences
I thought you had the Tsudo header on the skwirl Paul?
