Well I got my radiator back, only took 1 week for custom fabrication.
I think it looks amazing. I got the drain moved around to the back side
and a temperature sensor bung welded on also. I got it without a tranny
cooler because I have an external one. Let me know what you think!
How much and where did you get it from? I want one so bad!
I would call and ask them for price. Mine was custom and a little pricy but they were local and I wanted some little custom tings done to it.
Would you want it exactly like that one?
-no fan shroud (Im using a slim fan with the straight zip ties thru the radiator)
-no tranny cooler
-reversed drain
-temperature sensor bung
?????
Mine was $500 with pickup no shipping.
Call them up! Tell them you got the info from Phil, with the custom J-body radiator.

Looks good, but I'll keep my Griffin.
Thats fine cody ..... I dont mind if you leep your epoxied core griffin radiator.
Mine is fully welded and braised!
nice might have to get one but think i will stick to my stock rads i would be pissed if a rock took out a rad like that
JBO since July 30, 2001
Yeah me too ..... rocks are bad!
You could always run some mesh in front of it.
Im really not worried about it though, I got an external
tranny cooler infront of the driver side, a oil cooler
infront of the passenger side, and an intercooler
infront if it all, so that rock would have to go through a
bunch of @!#$ first!

Both will still far exceed stock cooling and function the same regardless of being epoxy or being fully welded. Yours is a very nice product in all I will give you that, but I don't honestly see a need to build a bullet proof radiator and pay that much more. I'll have a heat exchanger in front of my radiator so its not like it won't be semi protected anyhow.
Is that a provision for a Coolant temp sensor?
Whats the core size, 1.5"?

I know ..... they will both be better than a stock radiator, I just really like making custom things.
Yes, that is an aftermarket temp sensor, the stock one will remain in the hard rail.
Also I moved the drain from the front of the rad to the back, as it was almost impossible
to get to with oil tranny and intercooler in front of it.
The core is a double 1", so essentially its a 2" core!
Is it possible to still get the grifin radiator? If so then where, i searched there website and couldn't find it.
