i just got some pacesetter headers for my 01 2200.
It says it comes with a adapter to fit up with a stock system.
and right now i have the stock cat with a magnaflow cat-back system form rk sport.
question is am i gonna half to take the car to a shop to have the headers installed because it will require welding ?
and should i go ahead and put out another 100$ for a high flow cat.

just buy a $5 clap if that and clap it to the stock cat unless you want it welded to stock cat. your choice.
and its header. you dont have a v6 or v8
or v10 or v12 unless your tryin to fool us!
ok first off thanks for the help and i have one more question for yall. i looked at the cat that rich put a link to and it looks good.
the question is if i get the cat then my whole system is 2 1/4 inch so would i get a 2 1/2 inch pipe and sleeve it over then clamp it with 2 1/2 clamps?
sorry bout the stupid questions .. this is not my area of knowledge.

no, as 2. would be too big. take the cat and res to your local parts store that sells exhaust parts, and get a reducer/coupler the fits them.

I've seen you post those cats before, ARE THEY GOOD? Will they pass emissions testing?
Don't buy from MANTAPART!!
There is no easy ways to get HP, no magic box or gizmo... And if you get more hp, there's no way to make your car still behave and sound like a stock one. More hp usually makes your car louder, more vibrations and harder to drive...but still people hope or think maby there's some magic way to have it all, comfort, stock sound and drive.
