I have a 95 cav 2.2 will the 2000 2200 fit in the car using exsisting wirirng harness and ecm or do i need the newer ecm and harness. as soon as possible on the answer would be great thanks guys in advance your site is great.

Im a little fuzzy here..... are you talking about swapping from the older LN2 to a newer L61 (2.2 overhead valve to a 2.2 DOHC Ecotec) ?

Or going from a 2.2 to a 2200?

Im fuzzy on when the crossover was.... but im sure someone will help you...

Either way you will definatley need a wiring harness and probably a few other things.... its not going to be just plug and play.....

2200... some "minor" work..... and Eco... a whole lot of crap.

Search people! You will have to swap everything over. Get the correct engine for your year car.

different trans, different electrical, different ecu..

tarnsmission is the same just different harness and ecu as far as searching I did try too look for an answer nut didnt have much luck.
