Nice, now start making square base LS1 TB plates that will work well with custom Intakes.....maybe a small undercut slot to mate nicely with some standard intake tubing material?

why so small? is 2mm really worth all the hassle?
why didnt you go to 62mm?
Every time I scream "Release", I mean it, you know it. I feel the day. Black 7.
You can bore these TB's to damn near the physical positions of the bearings for the shaft(obviously saving some for strength). That probly isn't much bigger tho, what, maybe 65-68mm maybe?

Lol @ the plate. Looks good Mark, keep it up!
Are you still doing these, Mark, i`m needing a 62mm LD9 TB for my build.
I heard this one in this post was causing a high idle. Anything been done about that?

i could use a 62 mm 95 2.3 throttle body to mate to my HO Mani...
What is the reason for sleeving? Are you able to bore to 62mm without sleeving it and it performing just fine?
Sleeving it is a MUST after 58.25mm. You will hit the vacuum walls and all sorts of other things. The sleeve has to be pressed in then machined, its not an easy task. If you and speeline want a 62mm, get 2 more together and I will do them. The price will be $250 though.

Any info on the issues? I have been wanting a larger TB, but do not want to deal with issues. After Mr. G coming to me about his I decided not to.

"This sums up why i'm so glad to have a 2.4 Quad motor and not the smaller Ecotec!"
The output of the 2.4 is offset by its weight.
It has the heavy cast iron block.
Torture test of the Eco show it takes more abuse.
Just sticking up for the Eco.
Yes, the thread was hijacked.
Honestly, I would have been 100% happy with a 2.4 Cavalier or Sunfire.
Nothing against that motor whatsoever.
I will say that the 2.4 has a much less pricey SC kit which makes me jealous.
My wife's 2003 Ecotec 2.2 liter Sunfire:
* 2 1/4 inch in and dual 2 inch out muffler Trans Am muffler
* 2 1/4 piping to a very long 2 1/4 inch resonator
* 2 1/4 inch catalytic converter
* an AEM true cold air intake NOPI edition
* 8 gauge ground wire kit
* Toyz front strut brace
* Russell stainless steel brake lines all around.
