Hi, I am new to the forums but not new to cars and working on them. I have owned 30 plus vehicles but due to jbody craze that isn't slowing down, I plan on doing a v6 swap for fun! I am going to check out an '85 buick with the 3800 series 2 supercharged engine tonight and see how it runs. I plan on rewiring the entire donor car that I am also getting soon. My cavalier that I have now with the 2.4 runs fine so there is no reason to tear it apart and it will probably be given to my daughter in the future. I have lots to learn in doing this swap but I believe I can do it and will have a blast doing it. Any help or links to a 3.8 swap would be greatly appreciated.
Now that's what I am talking about. Many thanks CraiGM. I did do a search but didn't run across that, thanks again.

btw if you think your getting a series 2 out of a 85 or even a 95 your mistaken and a series 1 is gay and makes no power you'd be better off doing a 3400
JBO since July 30, 2001
You're better off doing the 3400 rather than the series II unless you get the boosted one.

Perhaps someone swapped the L67 into some sort of 85 Buick project car... how are we supposed to know?
