its the red stuff its like and RTV its also called gasket maker

i never used it just order the 2.3 paper gasket and make the modifications to match the 2.4 head, thats what i did and i didn't even have that adapter i match ported the manifold

but if your not built or boosted you may be makin the car slower

Liquid gasket is like slicon that you would use to seal windows or around your bath tub etc.. But its made for high temps and to be more oil resistant. It can work wonders but it can also fail and cause headakes... I just used some tonight to put the two halfs of my dirt bike engine togeather and it worked like a charm

The First Twin Charged jbody
blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno

hmmm, may have to look into that, and ya i know it has shown losses, but honestly until i boost im not really expecting to win races, so its purely for appearance while i get the funds together for a turbo

I had a neighbor that raced a dirt circuit. and he used that kinda stuff cause the engines would burn through headgaskets every race. so it was easier and cheaper to liquid gasket it.

I have and never would use it for a head gasket but have used it on intake manifolds, waternecks, and valve covers and had success with it. My 2 favorites are rtv black and i think its called the right stuff or the good stuff, it comes in a tube like caulk.

I've used the liquid gasket stuff. It didn't work for me it was on a trans am and the valve covers leaked because they were aftermarket valve covers. They still leaked and the stuff was a pain to get off!
