Driving to work today and im pritty sure the fuel pump went out on me. The good news was it stalled just as i was pulling into the parking lot lol. So i was thinking about what im going to replace it with after some research i think im going to go with a Blazer fuel pump with a accel adjustable fuel pressure regulator..
My Current Mods are as follows:
-M62 Supercharger Setup Intercooled,
-Cobra Heat Exchanger with Cobalt Aux. Pump,
-Intake Manifold has Dual Pass Endplate Mod,
-Cobalt SS Injectors
-2002 Cavalier Fuel Rail
-Modified Cosmo Racing Short Ram Intake,
-Tsudo Exhaust header,
-Full 2.5" exhaust, Custom Tubes Inc 2.5" Catback,
-Magnaflow 2.5" in + out Straight Through Muffler,
-RK Sport Upper & Lower Motor Mounts,
-Cosmo Racing Short Throw Shifter,
-RK Sport Under drive pulley (UN-INSTALLED LOL),
-Rk Sport Lightweight Flywheel,
-Spec Stage 4 ... 6 Puck clutch,
-New Slave cylinder, Timing kit + Water Pump and Fuel Filter,
-NGK Iridium Spark Plugs,
-8 PSI of Boost
Do you think running bigger injectors and demanding more flow could have caused the pump to fail prematurely?
Thoughts on the blazer setup because it seems like a metter better deal than a 250 Delco stock replacement...

how much more does the blazer pump push? does it drop right in or are some real mods needed?
Just curious

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.
Screw the blazer pump and get the racetronixs. No fuel cut FTW!!!

The only thing about the racetronix pump it is an inline right? so it needs a in-tank to supply it with fuel. so i would need to get another in-tank anyway. Blazer fuel pump $83 New cavalier fuel pump $250.
If i can find a performance in tank then ill go with that. I was pritty sure the racetronix was a in line thou.
Im proboly going to go with a racetronix after i start going down in pully sizes and going with bigger injectors but, but i think that the blazer pump should hold up for what i need now.

The racetronix pump is an intank pump.......
Racetronix drops in. High mileage ecotec pumps are notorious for going out happened to me 20 miles from my house I was not happy. Just go racetronix and don't look back.
