I just bought a 02 Cavalier LS Sport . it has the 2.2 eco motor. I drove a dodge avenger before this car so I don't know anything about the cav or chevy for that much. So in all of your opinions were is a good place to start to make this motor more powerful. I don't wanna swap and a turbo and NO2 is coming later down the road so other than that where is a good place to start?
02 Cavalier LS Sport
bolt ons, overall is a much more peppy car than an avenger
15.0 @ 90mph with only a intake and exhaust.
most start with an intake and go from there
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
I was thinking of putting a short ram intake rather than a cold air because of money since in college. Will this intake give me close to the same Improvement? Also what are other good low cost bolt on I can put quick. I don't wanna 3 day bolt on project

CAI vs WAI... the never ending debate.
If you want to suck the warm air from inside your engine, but not worry about having to clean your filter all the time or sucking up water, get a WAI. If you want to suck up the cooler air from the outside of the car get a CAI.
AEM Cold air intakes are about $160 shipped on ebay.
Cheaper Ebay WAI are about $20 shipped on eBay.
Cheaper price can mean lower quality. You get what you pay for. You can also make your own CAI intake for around $50.
Engine and Tranny mounts are quick, easy, and make your car feel new again. You can do upper and lower engine mounts for about $150, and the auto trans mount is $180. I think the prothane standard trans mount inserts are like $50 or so. All of these can be done in less than an hour each.
Catback exhaust. Will give your ears and butt dyno the feeling you have more power.
http://customtubesinc.com has a catback exhaust (no muffler) for about $150 iirc. Get a resonator ($20 to $100) and a muffler ($20 to $400) and your set.
what about exhaust headers?
02 Cavalier LS Sport
Pacesetter armor coated header ($150 to $300). You only have one header, so you don't need headers. lol
Magnaflow highflow cat too ($65)
Pipe size is up to you, I always recommend 2.5" exhaust, but other say 2 1/4" is better. Again... thats a debate with no true answer.

15.0 @ 90mph with only a intake and exhaust.
I will have to check around my house for a custom setup
02 Cavalier LS Sport
I would do a custom setup, gives you a choice of your own resonator which is nice, I personally got a 28 inch one, When I first got it done I hade it butted right up to the cat
15.0 @ 90mph with only a intake and exhaust.

thrush glasspack resonator, customtubesinc.com piping, , your choice of a muffler (i have

-engine mounts: like stated above
-tranny mounts: like stated above
-auto trans:
