has anyoen ever seen a 2nd gen Z24 made into RWD or evn a v8?
do both. thats how everyone does it these days.
Its been done more times than lambo doors. The cool thing now is to swap a K20 and do mid engine awd. Get with the times man...
a mid engine AWD K20 swap wouldn't be too bad I wouldn't think
Probably do it over a weekend with some friends and a couple cases of beer
a weekend i doubt that its a little more involved then that i would tackle this on a long weekend 3 day minimum 4 day would be safer just make sure you have parts on hand because if you forget something on long weekends stores are closed
K20 AWD upgrade to delorian wheel bearings same spline count but last way longer, the have a synthetic grease that can handle higher temperatures and load, NOTE: these are NOT a regular stock item don't expect to get them same day there usually in the warehouse at least around my area when i bought them it was a 2 day wait to get them
JBO since July 30, 2001
Look here.
http://www.smithperformance.com/catalogue.html They sell what you would need to make a 3rd gen RWD with a V8 so if you call them they might be able to help you.

Don't let the punks get to you. If they can't say anything helpful its because they probably
have VERY LITTLE IF ANY MECHANICAL SKILLS . Talking crap is just their way of hiding that
fact. They figure the more crap they say the less likley anyone will know how dumb they are.

How about fitting the drive-train from a Fiero in-back, with a small-block Chevy mated to the trans-axle? That'll blow some minds.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
