I have some question about engine and trasnmision, last month, my second gear on my 3t40 slippe and now the car do 1 to 3

When i will change my transmision, I will change my engine, here my question, I have the 2.2l 2200SFI

What do I need to put a 2.4l in my hood, is that the engine uses the same support as the 2.2l ?

Is that the transmision uses the same support even if the 2.4l engine (3t40) ?

You didnt search at all did you...

You will need the 2.4 motor, transmission, shifter linkage, computer, and wire harness. Since you have the 3t40e, some other things have to be switched out.

In conclusion, buy a different car.
