Installing MD's lightweight alternator pulley, and I need to know what size the tensioner pulley bolt is, and then according to the haynes manual I am assuming, you rotate the bolt, the tensioner moves, and you can just slip the belt off the alternator?
Yea getting any pulley off is a pain. You can install my RK sport crank pulley for sale at the same time.
lol. Good luck

Leave the alternator on the motor or take it off. Its up to you.
HHR alternator....

Added....The later is what I used, but was a PAIN in the ass to get the nut off that held on the pulley.
Some aftermarket alternators have different size nuts. Some are metric, and some are standard.
Most are T-55 Torx. Some odd balls are T-50 Torx.
Most nuts are 15/16", but some are metric. I really need to make a list of all the possible sizes they are, but have never found the time.
The easiest way to change the pulley is to remove the alternator from the car.
