the question is how much money do you have?
Because some people like the simplicity of a reliable, OHV.
Ask a machine shop.
Got about 7 hundred to the side right now
Are u removing the cyl head or the shop? If you are you are looking @ $150-$200 for the port and polish, Install from a shop you will have to call a local mechanic for the his houly rate or job rate.
Port, polish, valve job, valvetrain install, with boring the block and balancing the internals and some install work (no removal) I was looking at around $7-800. This is from one of the best shops in AZ, so you should be covered unless you want a cnc p&p, then save up quite a bit more.
whats a cnc p&p? how is it different from a regular port and polish?
cnc = computer numerical controlled aka basically a big computer controlled mill
p&p = port and polished
moral of the story cnc p&p is getting your ports milled out and polished with a computer controlled machine
so, its just more consistant? or can it decide how big to open up the port based on flow, and desired rpm range too?
Another question I haven't seen a bigger throttle body or a intake manifoLd wouldn't I need that for the 2.2 otherwise everything is still going thru the small opening
i can do it for u, for what uve got saved up, it will come with valve job, resurface, assembly and return shipping is also included.

i make neons go fast.........
Be careful when it comes to P&P. Usually you get what you pay for. Go to the local track and get shop recommendations from the pushrod V8 guys running fast times. Finding a competant individual or shop to remove/port/flow/port/flow/port/flow.../machine/rebuild/install for under $1000 would be tough, so I suggest you at least take care of the removal/installation yourself. Get a service manual and do some reading if you need to.
If you're good with the hands-on stuff, I'd highly suggest doing some reading, getting a spare head and standard abrasives kit and giving it a shot yourself. The LN2 head is pretty basic.
CNC would run $XXXX to do a single head, it's meant for larger-scale production. A knowledgeable human's port job will outperform it as well.

idk about where you live but in Northeast, OH. Napa does PnP for a couple hudred bucks im pretty sure.....
Mike,
Can you please pm me what shop did that work, so I can make sure to stay away from them lol.
