Just a question, a friend gave me his 5in K&N filter he had in a truck in great condition. I havent been able to find a way to make it fit my intake that is 3in home depot, autozone, etc, do not have an adapter that size. Does anyone have any clever idea on what I can use to make it fit or should just forget about the filter?

you mean the coupler is 5" diameter? that's a big stepdown to get it to 3". i'd say sell it ad get a properly sized one.
