well i had a few people asking how to do the 2200 coil swap on the ecotec and we had some 2200 coils and wires laying arond and was bored so we thew them on the cavy runs the same just runs a bit smother i did not feel any power diffrents with the cols but does run smother now

no pump was going bad so i deleted it the car still turns eazy

Same thing that makes Ford's starter-relay system better than Chevy's starter-solenoid: Heat-soak prevention.
It's like this: When electrical windings are subjected to sources of high close-by for long periods, the lose effectiveness. On a starter solenoid, this could prevent it from closing the contacts that energize the starter motor itself. This is a common problem on GM V-style engines running headers. So what to do? Employ Ford's fender-mount solenoid/relay for the heavy current-draw circuit, and never worry about it again!
So, by moving the coils away from the head, and out of that heat-trapping cover, we improve their performance & extend their service-life considerably.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
