Im looking at puting a dynomax super turbo on my new exhaust setup. Only problem is thats its a universal muffler and the 2.25 comes in various "lengths."
it comes in 25.5 in and 18.5 in i believe. This is the "shell length"

If both would fit under there, longer is quieter. I believe min is the shorter one, but for 2.5" pipe.
I don't know if you have a specific sound that you are looking for, but I'll tell ya the superturbo alone will still be raspy without a resonator - even worse if you have a header and highflow cat.

The longer, the less raspy. Most generally suggest using the longest that will fit - and i've heard of ppl fitting 22".
ive got an 18" res and a 18" magnaflow and mine has almost zero rasp.... throaty, deep tone, but no rasp.
I hope then that a 17" res with an 18.5in superturbo will be similar.
