Tsudo problems

OK so i bought a tsudo 421 header. I love the look, but have some issues with the header it self. The flex pipe in the piece was horribly installed. There are major leaks around it. I fixed the one side but can't get to the top side to weld up the leaks. So here is what i am asking.. who here has had similar problems?? If enough people have had problems with this header i say it is time to contact the manufacture and complain. Im tired of getting screwed by companies and not being able to do anything about it because they are in another country. If they were close enough i would drive there and complain. But maybe if enough of use go to them they will fix there problems. Lets hear the complaints......

That would be a fine plan but i think that the tsudo header is made in china by the lowest bidder. same with OBX and a few other products.

You get what you pay for.

Tada. I threw mine away. Junk

Buy an armor coated Pacesetter LSJ header and do a custom downpipe. Big improvement

The only issue I see with the header flanges are the outside bolt holes are a little lower than the middle bolt holes. So use some rtv on the flanges/gasket, tighten the outsides first to draw them together, and hope it doesn't leak!

Or should I have new flanges put on? Also how do you know if the system
is leaking?

Exhaust RTV might work.

and if you have a leak on a header you will know it. Its maybe the most obnoxious noise a car can make. If its a small leak and dosent make that much more noise then your exhaust system it will maybe produce a small amount of smoke in the engine bay.

A good way to find exhaust leaks is to seafoam the car. that @!#$ poors white smoke from every pin sized hole in the exhaust.
