new ecotec valve spring option?

Hey guys - check out the site below. ZZP sells a single coil 78lb valve spring that they claim coil binds at 0.475" lift with their retainers. It's dirt cheap. Is this the middle road option for those who want a mild cam upgrade?

ZZP 78lb valve springs

I'm going to contact them and see if these springs will play nice with comp stage 2. Let me know your thoughts.

My buddy made a post about these a few months back.

He wanted to run then with the Stage 1 cams and wanted to know what people thought, no one seemed to have any experience with them tho.

He went and bought them anyways (Got the optional retainers as well), we installed them the other day with the Stage 1's and everything seems to be working out fine. Lots of room between the coils with the Stage 1's in there.

Good luck with there customer service, I tired contacting them via email and I was talking to some "Turbo Tim" guy, he is brain dead...lol
