where to start (l61 05 sunfire) auto

ok i got so ? for all u gurus to start off with can i get do a 25 hp dry shot on 92 octane till my wet kit gets here how much can the fuel system suport 75 hp shot + 4 -2 1 header and cai ok or am i pushing the rods and fule system ? what times can i exspect with 50 shot cai and full exhust 14 sec 1/4 ?

ok one at a time
1 can i run a dry 25 hp shot of n2o?
2 how much spray can stick fuel system handle 75 + ??
3 what kind of hp # can i exspect with fill 2.5 inch exhust 4-2-1 header cold air intake 50 shot of spray and gasket matching the factory intake ?

1. Yes, but it is not safe, wet is better.
2. None, the stock ECU cannot adjust fuel for nitrous.
3. A 50 shot usually means a 50hp increase. So maybe 60hp increase. There are no gaskets on the factory intake manifold, just 4 o-rings.

Added info: GM doesnt recommend anything larger than a 75 wet shot on stock L61 rods/pistons. GM has also tested stock L61 rods/pistons to 270ish hp on nitrous before the left the block.

just wanted to see if i could test run my car on a 25 dry shot till the wet upgrade get here.
when i say gasket match i mean o ring match the head and intak ports i hear there is quit a bit of extra plastic on the intake side.
will the stock pump keep up with a 75 wet shot ?

read in the n2o forum.

and no, don't even bother with a dry kit. save for the wet, period.

the stock pump will be fine.

once again, read the sticky's in the n2o forum for all the information you need for now. if you have questions after reading the sticky's then ask.

well couldent find the dry kit info on n2o fourm and upgrading the kit i took out of my mustang it wass a 75 dry kit bought the n.o.s upgade kit to go from dry to wet but jes says 2-3 weeks till showes up in my hand so itch to run it on this car was gonna just ry 25 if i could but ill wait . im also bulding a water/meth kit for it. on my stang it let me get away with a 100 shot and stay a dry system ( yes i know the watter meth counts as making it a hill billy wet kit ) but was nice to have that anti detonation factor that race gass cant touch even ran e85 thru the meth kit more than once now im having a hard tim finding a good high presure 12v pump used auto fuel line and nos jets to make the kit worked well

yikes paid 5k for car a year ago 80k miles i just got a direct port n2o kit and im saving for cai and 4-2-1 header with 2.5 in exhust not into the 3.5 k blower. iv also started on the theth kit got a 45 psi 3 gpm shureflow bump nos fan spray nossle and 14 ft braides ss lime from old n2o kit looking for a nice ss resivor to runk mount any ideas ?
