Bash is coming up on May 1st. My car is done, running smooth and being tuned. I'll have it at bash, washed, waxed and ready to run.
I know you've been trying to beat my hp numbers for a while now, but you know im not gonna let that happen. So what better time to settle this.
I challenge you to a race on the hennessey track. NAmadness vs. Section8cav . Main event , well race before the brackets start, ill clear the staging lanes just for us. 1 race winner takes all,...fastest NA cav on jbo. i guess ill be the first one to say it? LD9 with stock quad parts running mid 13's at 600 feet > quads with massive cams, massive heads, and more displacement running mid 14's at sea level

Yeah, I did some searching and found what I was looking for. Read through the whole thread, and I am very impressed! This car is going to be NUTS! I definitely cannot wait to see some dyno #'s posted!

i'm dissapointed that my car wont be finnished by then. i'd love to partake in this challenge.
scott's build is no less than amazing, but...
he's serious about the engine, he's gotta get serious about weight.
I'm not sure how permanent the install is, and I'm also not sure about Paul's weight reduction... but scott gotta drop that crap for race day.
^^^ agreed.. but in scott's defense he does enjoy a well rounded car that is fast WITH all that stuff. there are just some people that like it that way. i believe in balls to the walls, all or nothing, go big or go home. for n/a anyways...
mean paul's car could really have a lot more taken out/off but at this point its basically a decision of weather or not to make it a full blown race car or not. i dont think paul likes that idea, he does enjoy driving it on the street. paul's car has the following 're-ducted'... weighs 2450 with driver and half a tank of gas.
air bags and all associated bracketry
rear bumper support
back seat
wiper assembly
ac
heater assembly (yes even the box under the dash)
spare tire/jack
power steering
but... it does have a cd player and all 4 speakers, a full interior (minus back seat), a heavy ass sun roof (that still works), and gets driven to and from work as well as various places quite often (including driving 100 miles to my house all the time) so its not really a 'race car'. only reason it gets trailered to the track is because its smart.
