i currently have some autozone short ram intake with a spectre filter or somthing like that. i found a aem cold air for 60 dollars on ebay so i jumped on that. i was wondering if i would notice any differnce between the two. also all my friends cars with intake make a whistling noise and mine does nothing.

no you won't notice the difference. that's a good price to get one tho.
you'll prob get the whistle w/ the aem. does having the whistle make it faster, better or awesome? no.
