i got a timing chain kit from gm for my 2005 ecotec, and it came with a new hydraulic tensioner
From what i have read these need to be primed correct? How do you go about priming it? thanks

Unplug the module and injector wiring harness, and crank the car over with fresh oil in it. Do it about 5 times for about 30 seconds each. That should be enough to prime the tensioner.

If its new it should be set you just put it in and give a little push on the guide and it will pop out and your done.
