Was looking for a throttle body for my car that has the 2.4 with manual transmission. The junk yard told me that there is a difference between the auto and manual trans throttle bodies. The only thing i can think of is the fact the auto would have a kick down cable. I can't find a throttle anywhere by me for the cheap prices like the ones offered on ebay for the automatics. Any thoughts from anybody?
that junkyard is high on glue. there is absolutely zero difference between either of the throttle bodies from manual to automatic.
i ran the tb that came on my 97 (manual) car on my 98 (auto) car for years.
180hp in 1989 or 145hp in 2002, you decide. >
i figured that much they told me 85 bucks for one. i am only looking for a cheap one to port out and keep my stock throttle body in my garage.
