Stroker Problem Solved !

OK guys ! as most of you know one of the bigger issues with doing the stroker is the crank position sensor....up to this point there had been only 2 options that im aware of tried and were successful . the external pickup wheel, and the less popular drilling a hole in the block to relocate the cps.
Well i finally completed a 3rd option, and it requires less work and money than either of those two. best part is it utilizes the stock cps hole in the block.
I used the cps from a 3400 engine, the 3400 cps is the same diameter so it fits snug in the hole, its longer than the quad cps so it reaches the reluctor wheel, and the connector at the top is exact same as the quad cps so its plug n play.
Now, since it was actually Too long i had to have a spacer made so that clearance would be correct, but its much better than having TOO MUCH clearance like the stock one had.
Sensor is $15 at autozone, make a spacer for it, and plug it in. after that you will need to adjust your "crank reference angle" setting in the pcm. i havnt gotten this one up and running yet but ill have an exact setting listed for those that wanna try it in the future very soon.

amazing work.........will you be selling these spacers or providing specs as far as diameters and thickness'......was thinking of building a strokers but the cps thing had me worried...but if this works YAY!!!!!!!!!!! good work man

will know for sure how it works this weekend. sorry i dont have access to a machine that makes these, but they are VERY simple. i CAN give specs if need be....but would be best if you simply had your machine shop set it in place with the proper clearance while they have your block , if your doing any overboring n such...which im sure you are
