You have no info in your profile to tell us what car you have. I can only assume you have a 96 cavi by your name.

But the answer is yes, with enough money anything is possible. Will it be easy, no. Direct fit? Not even close

dude you are a tool. you know nothing about the ecotec, the ld9 or much else. the search button would have told you teh vvt engine is a no go with our computers, a search would have told you what was needed for an eco swap in general as well.

you sir are the reason people complain about being flamed because you cannot be bothered to do simple diligence but prefer to talk out of your ass.

post ignorance in the newbie section where you belong.

Oh my god, I cannot believe how smart you are. In fact I felt so dumb that I decided to look up SBC in the dictionary. I was SHOCKED to see a picture of you next to the following definition...

SBC is a well known acronym for sucks big dick, i.e. mikedemo. I also cross referenced your sbc mikedemo name in the pedophile database...@!#$ dude I did not know that donkeys could take it as well as you give it. Bravo.

I only fear that now that I know your true identity that I will be unable to take ANYTHING you say seriously...DUDE.

my son you know nothing about anything. I am sure in your whole 25 years you have build some slick small block chevy's, i am sure they pulled the wheels off the ground. I know you have supreme knowledge about everything, which is why I am so surprised that you didn't know the basics of the small gm engine family.

I wonder how you got dick out of SBC, a SBD is a completely different thing. but once again you don't know how to search so teh result is not surprising.

Fact of life you post stupid things, pay tribute to your own ignorance and things happen.

But please feel free to show the world what you have been able to create, and have fun popping that le5 in your z. oh and whatever you are putting that sbd in post that too...

tool.

i was going to stay out of this bitch fest but i'll play. shut up kid, if your'e 16 you'll go through your rice stage and get flamed for it. then hopefully you'll learn, till then don't talk @!#$ to other people if your'e 16.

to the op, well mike and jazer said it best.

but to be nice and answer your question, no you cannot swap an engine from another cavalier into your cavalier. it's been tried before and it always fails. no one has ever done it. don't waste your time.
