ive had the urge for a while to get a little extra horse power outta my car, yet i have a budget like many people do. I have a 2000 z24 and was wondering what would be cheap and give me a little more power to the wheels with a 500 to 800$ range if thats even possible while at the same time being worth it ha...?????

its hard to find a such thing as "cheap power", if you could get it, everyone would have it.

since your in the 5-800 dollar range, just save yourself some more cash and get a turbo kit, thats going to give you the best bang for the buck. Keep your eye out for stuff in your regional forum and the classifieds.

If you want a quick little increase check into nitrous, but i recommend saving your money and getting a turbo kit.

Nitrous is the only thing in that price range that'll give you noticable power. You can spend 800 bucks on bolt on and only gain 15 hp or you can spend 800 on a n20 setup and gain 50 hp.

you could do the basic bolt on thing and jsut make your car more fun etc, but if you want straight power, you need more than 5-800 bucks, including for turbo kit becuase then you have to find someone to tune it, wich sometimes is really freakin hard. i still have yet to fin dsomeone close enough to tune my n/a ecotec.

if you want to go with the bolt on thing jsut say so and we will all be glad to chime in on suggestions, sites, brands etc
