yes they will work you have to grind down your fuel rail b/c the ss injectors are shorter but if you gring on the mounting points about a 1/4 inch it will work fine also unless your have other stuff done you will throw codes

Use these instead of grinding the fuel rail. That way you dont mess up the injector angle and ruin a perfectly find fuel rail.

Yes, im running Cobalt SS(LSJ) injectors in my 03.

Do i have to worry about throwing any codes if i only have headerback and a cai? i will be getting the injectors before hptune.

I havnt personally heard of throwing codes because of changing injectord. However if you don't have hptuners to change the injector constant you will be running really really rich.

Do not install without altering injector constant with HPT.

I had black smoke(carbon) coming out my (stock)exhaust when my car was just idling before i had it retuned(LSJ injectors installed). That's how much fuel it was dumping.

Damn, I had my LSJ Injectors installed at the DYNO SHOP and then changed injector constant (LE 5 manifold addition). Didn't want to do damage to motor.

So I'm assuming washers are not the same as Bushings?

any washer with the 1/2x7/8x 14 gauge will work. go to a local hardwars store and tell them you need 4 (or more) 1/2 by 7/8 14 gauge washers. not that hard.

Only issue with regular washers is their inconsistency in thickness and diameter.

When I did the neon rear swap I spent probably 20 minutes going through washers to find 10 that were the same thickness and same diameter. Guy thought I was strange when I walked in with my digital caliper.

Heck, if you dont need them right away, like today, I can go pick some up and ship them to you, if you cover the costs that is.

with a tune and other mods what kind of gain with the lsj injectors would we see.? is there any other injector off other cars we can use as upgrades?

I'm running the LE5 with these injectors, a custom Tri-Flow camshaft (kind of like stage 1.5 lol) with CAI and Cat back
After a tune, and install of injectors at the same time there was definitly a noticable difference. No dyno with my tune, so i cant tell you exact hp gain, but noticable I would think would be 15-20 gain (back me up or argue otherwise b/c I really dont know)
