Sunday, October 17, 2010 1:27 AM
Well I bought an oversized crank pulley off of MD and Im just wondering what size belt to run, or If I can get anyway using the stock belt.

I am currently running the stock belt and stock pulley.

Any advice is greatly appreciated,

Thanks in Advance

An oversized crank-pulley? What, are you trying to speed-up the accessories? Because that's what it'll do... It sure won't make less power be needed to turn them with it.

Go beyond the "bolt-on".

More boost for a supercharger, which he has.

I'm not sure you will be able to use the stock belt with the OS pulley and stock charger pulley. I know you can use the stock belt with a 2.6 and OS, and a 2.5 and the OS, but stock charger pulley might be too much.

you can get the belt from autozone, napa ect but its actually a 6 rib belt. you can take a razor blade to it and cut one of the ribs off.

i dont rememeber what size it is or the part number but i know its been done before
