ive got an 97 z24 parts car and im looking at an 98 z24 with a locked up motor it jumped timing. im also looking at an 96 z24 with a bad motor as well. will the motor out of the 97 work in the 98 or will i have to find a 98 above or should i get the 96. thanx for lookin
All 3 of those 2.4s are the same, if you use the 96 and plan on doing anything performance wise make sure you swap the engine harness and computer from the 97(assuming they have the same trans either auto or manual).
