Anyone know what i would need to swap in a 98= ln2 in my 95 cavi?
Since no-one here seems to be willing to really help... I'll give it to you straight:
The only things that are the same between the '95 & '98 LN2 are the connecting-rods, the oil-pan & the timing-chain set. This includes the wiring for engine management & the engine management itself.
BTW: What's happened that you need to swap engines?
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
youll get a**holes like them all the time..... the post above me is 100 percent corecct.... easy'est thing to do is buy a 98 2200, and take the wireing harness, and computer.....
doesn't the 98 use a dig. odometer? you might have to get that too. of course, i could be talking out of my ass, lol. idk if it does, but i thought i read it does....i gots a 2000, lol, not a 98
2000+ are digital just buy a 98-99 parts car that had the 2200 in it, you're going to need the ecu, harnesses and a bunch of others so it will be nice to have a parts car right there...IMO not worth the work
