does anyone have a pic of how the main bearings go in an ld9? im assembling my bottom end and its been torn apart for 8 months and been to the machine shop and back and i dont know how the bearings go. theres 2 bearings that stand out from the others and im not sure where to put them.... thanks

I believe the thrust bearing goes in the middle.

thanks, does the assembly lube go in between the bearing and the caps or just on the crank side of the bearing?

The more assembly lube the better!

it only goes on the bearing surface. The bearing does not need lubed between the shell and block/cap as it does not move in relation to them. Only needs lube on the surface facing the journal.

thanks, i lubed both sides but wiped the back of the bearings off with acetone to clean it and installed them dry. i lubed the inside of the bearings....
